“Mechanical Mind”

Music is an important part of my life, so I wanted to do a series of lyrics from songs that catch my ears. During the process of sourcing the right text, I had the idea of looking to local artists for inspiration. I didn’t have to look far for the first one! My husband is a member of the Nashville band Financier. He was kind enough to give me the lyrics to their song, “Strydrz,” which repeats the phrase mechanical mind.
