About Miranda:
Miranda is a professional artist, designer, and yoga teacher based in Nashville, Tennessee. She works from her home studio and specializes in calligraphy, hand-engraving, lettering, watercolors, and graphic design. She has always been curious and inspired by art, design, letterforms, literature, communication, nature, and science. That curiosity greatly influences her art and approach to teaching. Miranda has been teaching private and group calligraphy and art classes since 2016.
Miranda believes that art has the power to bring joy, healing, and peace. She cherishes opportunities to share beauty and inspire self-discovery through teaching art. She brings her sunny disposition to all she does and actively seeks opportunities to use sustainable and upcycled materials. She looks forward to sharing her love of calligraphy with you.

Paper towels, a handkerchief, or an old t-shirt
Dropper Bottle with Distilled Water, or a cup of water with a straw will do in a pinch
Blotter Paper or newspaper to place under your writing paper
1 sheet of colored paper (not white, cream is okay), not too bright, to act as a guard sheet
Light-colored envelopes in any size
Removable Tape is handy to have but not necessary. It can be purchased online at Staples.com or Amazon. I haven't seen it in stores in a long time.
