WEEK 3 of 4: Tropical Plants – Monstera, Palms, & More
Traditional Chinese brush painting artists seek to capture the spirit of nature. The technique encourages imagination and asks you to paint what you want to see, not what you actually see.
Students discover this technique to be a calming and mindful way to paint. Each stroke is made with intention, purpose, and love.
Join me at The Getalong for a fun and relaxing afternoon of painting inspired by traditional spontaneous-style Chinese brush painting. You will learn about the materials, Chinese painting, and the wide variety of strokes that you can achieve with one brush!
Classes are small so students get a lot of individual attention.
Advance registration is required.
Open to all levels.
Feel free to bring a snack or beverage. BYOB if you are 21+.
