Traditional Chinese brush painting artists seek to capture the spirit of nature. The technique encourages imagination and asks you to paint what you want to see, not what you actually see.
Join me at The Getalong for a fun and relaxing afternoon of painting inspired by traditional spontaneous-style Chinese brush painting. You will learn about the materials, Chinese painting, and the wide variety of strokes that you can achieve with one brush!
Students discover this technique to be a calming and mindful way to paint. Each stroke is made with intention, purpose, and love.
Advance registration is required. Students may register for one or more classes.
Open to all levels.
All materials are provided. A one-time $25.00 supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of the first class. Check, cash, or Venmo is accepted.
