Brush Lettering is a modern style of calligraphy that is inspired by pointed pen calligraphy. In 1973, Japanese company Kuretake created the refillable Fudepen “brush pen”. The brush pen made calligraphy easily accessible and it requires no maintenance, only replace the cap so the ink does not dry out.
All you need is a brush pen and paper to create beautiful calligraphy anywhere and everywhere! Brush Lettering can be used to create cards, envelopes, posters, gift wrap, and anything your heart desires.
