Traditional Chinese brush painting artists seek to capture the spirit of nature. The technique encourages imagination and asks you to paint what you want to see, not what you see.

Join me at The Getalong for a fun and relaxing afternoon of painting autumn leaves and pumpkins inspired by traditional spontaneous-style Chinese brush painting. You will learn about the materials, Chinese painting, and the wide variety of strokes that you can achieve with one brush!

You will leave with 2 small paintings, a few postcards and greeting cards, handouts with step-by-step instructions, and the special brush used in class so you can continue painting at home!

This class is open to all levels. Space is limited to 8 students. All materials are provided. Advance Registration Required.
